a steam room is a sealed space filled with steam, creating a highly humid environment. using a steam room is a beneficial way to relax your muscles, revitalise your skin, raise your metabolism, improve blood circulation, relieve joint pains, and clear the sinuses. These are just the most well-known and proven benefits to using a steam room.

rated for a room no larger than 4 cubic meters.

single or three-phase power unit requires a single steam nozzle.

rated for a room no larger than 6 cubic meters.

three-phase power unit requires two steam nozzles.

rated for a room no larger than 8 cubic meters.

three-phase power unit requires two steam nozzles.

rated for a room no larger than 10 cubic meters.

three-phase power unit requires two steam nozzles.

in order to proceed with the installation of your machine, a few things will be required. correct preparations have to be made prior to the installation of the unit.

To install the unit, you will need the following:

I. A 15mm copper pipe will be required for a cold water supply.

II. A single or three-phase power supply is required.

III. The machine is to be mounted in a dry, well-ventilated area, outside or near the steam room.

iv. A drain is required near the machine, as the generator itself has to be drained on a regular basis, for maintenance and longevity reasons.

v. a 22mm copper pipe will be required to deliver steam from the generator to the room. a steam nozzle will be fitted over the pipe.

Units are to be drained on a weekly basis to prevent build-up of sediment inside the tank, and to prolong the lifespan of your elements. we recommend draining the machine once a week for domestic installations, and daily for commercial installations.

constructing a steam room entails a couple steps. all these steps are vital to the integrity of the room.

• steam rooms are built using concrete, brick, and cement, with waterproofing done, prior to tiling.
  
• seating should be wide and comfortable, with upper level and lower level seating where possible.
• the glass door must have a watertight seal around the sides and at the top.
• the recommended height for the ceiling is 2,2m from the floor, and must be waterproof, and should have a slight slope for condensation runoff.
• steam room lighting should be low-voltage, waterproof, and non-conductive. we recommend led strips.
• a floor drain must be installed, inside the steam room.
• the steam generator must be installed outside the steam room, in a dry, well-ventilated area.
• the steam generator can be installed in a ceiling, but the unit must be easily accessible, for maintenance and repair purposes.
• pvc piping is required from the location of the temperature sensor to the location of the control panel, to the location of the steam generator.
